Here is the follow up picture for "First day of School". She has been waiting a long time for this! Ilena graduated from Queens University on Friday. Too bad I forgot to tell them to take off their sunglasses for the shot.

Rose

Oh, by the way, William was working that day but came by just in time for this photo.

Forget the sunglasses Rose, this is a great photo and proud moment for you. How wonderful to see the before, (kindergarten), and after (education).

And while your daughter looks cute in her summer dress, I'm relieved you also posted a pic of her in her official gown. I thought she and her brother looked a little too casual for graduation:-)

Lovely pic.

Stevekin.

Fab shot - you should frame the two together.

Congratulations, Rose, on a wonderful milestone in your life.:-)

You are now the mother ofa child who is a college graduate

Gene Stallings, a nationally known football coach, used to open his first fall practice with these words to his incoming freshmen:

"Have you thanked your parents?"

He would dismiss them to call home!

True story.

P.S. Even with the sunglasses, Ilena has kind eyes. William is, on the other hand, playing the stoic , perhaps?

Thanks for the lovely comments guys!

Digcam, that was sweet of you to see her eyes through her sunglasses. They aren't only kind but very mischevious (sp?). And you are right about William....very cool. He isn't the sullen type of cool, more of the "you can't imagine what I'm thinking right now" type of cool. We are proud of both of them and they are alot of fun to have around.

regards,

Rose
