Numbers 2 and 3 are especially beautiful. You are so lucky to have such a willing subject -- my girls are 13 and 10, and absolutely won't pose for me. In fact, if they see my camera, they put their hands up immediately! I live for visits with my little niece and nephew -- I even sneak some photos of my kids holding them!

My solution to that problem is to tell them that I'm taking a picture anyway and if that is they way they want people to see them it's ok by me. It took awhile but it finally cured the "see camera...raise hands" syndrome!

How did you do your setup for the background in #1, I have seen it in other portraits, don't know how to do it. Very nice shots btw.

The background is not real. I created it in photoshop and added it. The reflection and shadow were added as well to give the effect that she is posing on Plexiglas, otherwise the background loses its realism and the subject may appear to be floating.
