Experimenting with light and mood... no models, so I had to shoot myself, so to speak. :roll:

great job! I like the first one the best.........dark, moody, intense, lost in thought...no, lost in the music. how would it look if you played around with it and gave it a look like a scetch?

the last one is very artistic. love the effect you gave it! not bad for a trumpet player!:blah:

Thanks, Rose;

Thanks for the comments,

There was actually not much "effect" applied here. These were taken in varying degrees of low-light. (some very low) Boosting the levels up into the useable range created the grainy look. To minimize the colour noise, I converted to b/w.

Thanks again.

So...the face behind the name. Nice shots and it's nice to be able to know who we are talking to.

I donĀ“t know if you are an amateur in playing the trumpet but the first picture gives this impression. This feeling was achieved by the fact that it is not sharp and by the blue color. Great job.

Oops... so much for the witness protection program. :-)

Thanksfor the comments, folks. Not much to look at, I know, but there you have it.

JP,though music is not my only sourceof income, I have been performing "semi-professionally" for over 30 years. If I take your comment correctly, though, I think it meansthat music is not a job for me butalove, which is very true.

Cheers.
