This has the makings of a nice portrait. May I suggest that you put her in front of one solid background rather than this one, which splits the picture right down the middle? Either the wood-tone wall or the white one would work, but I would like it better if both walls were not in this shot together.

Thanks for your comments.
I will try and change the background using a editing program.

I have only recently really started using Paint shop pro x and at the moment I am way down on the learning curve.

Hopefully I will be able to carry out many of these tasks as my skill level improves.

Taking your advice and given my limited as yet experience using the editing software I have included a new image of my wife .
