Here's my go at a 'actual' portrait. Any comments are welcome. For natural skin tone, is this a function of white balance, lighting or camera quality? I think the skin tone could be better on this shot. I shot this with a300d & kit lens, external flash bounced on ceiling in raw. Some PP of the background aswell. Thanks.

Hi Soukups,

I like this for a first attempt. The only thing I found slightly distracting was that background. Here is a 3 min edit which might give a slightly more 'studio' effect. I selected the background, applied a motion blur to soften it and then increased brightness and decreased contrast. I have only done low quality so you can see if you like it.

Very Nice! I had to overhaul the BG due to shadows. Your edit helps her to stick out a little more.Thanks for responding! Here's another
