I took this shot of my son, talking to a soldier, a couple of weeks back. We were at an airshow and the army had some of their weapons and AV's on display. I like the almost casual, chit-chat pose of the two. Chances are my little lad was talking about power rangers or some such…

He looks very nativeto the tank , like its commander! Ahh, just think about the elder kids taking pleasure of theirreal toys :-) Thanks for sharing..

I find this to be a very strong image which could evoke a number of emotions. I'd have this prominent in my album. By the way is this in Co. Clare as I see a reference to the Burren in the background, a place I visited and truely loved.

Thanks very much for your replies – it was just one of those random shots that you give little thought too and yet seem to work.

And yes we are quite close to Co. Clare, the next county over in fact. The show was held beside a beach, in a Bay that over looks Clare.


And the Burren is a beautiful spot, I'm hoping to get out there later this summer.
