Has anyone tried any of Lexar's 80x cards in a D-100? I am thinking about getting the 1GB card. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks! Steve :? |

I don't have either that camera or card but the place I go for CF card info is:
http://www.robgalbraith.com He keeps a very good CF performance database for many DSLR models. Check out this artile commenting on a new version of the Lexar 80x cards. Sounds like you should wait a bit: http://www.robgalbraith.com/bins/con...id=7-6459-7200 Traditionally, Nikon supported the WA extentions for writing data to the Lexar WA cards. This made them even faster than in cameras that don't support it. and this one, another even more indepth article on the issue of the new and old version of the 80x cards: http://www.robgalbraith.com/bins/con...id=7-6457-7117 and this is the generic link to the CF database that he maintains: http://www.robgalbraith.com/bins/mul...e.asp?cid=6007 Eric |

Glad to help... this was an easy one. Rob's site is just amazing for this type of stuff. No one has this broad array of CF and camera data done following good consistant methods.
