My CF card died on me all of a sudden. I havea Nikon D70, so top display that usually shows the number of photos left all of a sudden showed CHA, but when I turned the camera off and then on, it went back to numbers. However, when I tried to upload the photos (both with a card reader and by connecting the camera to the laptop) it won't read. I could still view all the photos using my camera, I just can't get them out. Anyway I can recover these photos?
Thanks! |

At least don't try writing anything new to card. (including new photos)
If card itself is recognised by card reader but card just seems to be empty there's couple programs you might want to try: http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/uk/welcome.htm |

I used this in the past and recovered all accidentally deleted files from a Lexar CF (1GB) card. |
