I have a number of SD cards which I'd like to store safely when not in the camera.

I've seen a number of different card storage cases advertised. I really want something that will protect my cards from water/sand, being dropped, stood on etc.

Has anyone got any recommendations?

Built like a tank, very tough with a padded rubber interior.

Its around 4.5x3x0.75 inches.

I also found it floats , though its not actually fully waterproof, still it protects the cards long enough if dropped in a pool of water, for them to be recovered and still work.

Can carry 4 Sd/MMC cards plus 4 memory sticks (or compact flash cards etc)

Personally, I like things like Pelican cases or Otterboxes.

They don't come specialized for flashcards (yet), so my recommendation would be a Pelican 1010 case with foam (http://www.all-pelican-cases-4-less.com/detail_pelican_1010.html), that you can modify yourself. Should have room enough for spare batteries also.

None of the special card cases I have seen online seem to have the safety/security of those. (Though I must confess, I have them not seen in real life yet.)
