I am getting rid of my parallel card reader (for cf-cards), and getting a new usb card reader. I am currently using windows 2000, but we may switch to windows xp without warning. My main concern is drivers, and reliability. I would like multi-card format because the state uses the now obsolete Kodak cd-120 (I have a Canon G-1 at home).

Ray,
Your best multi are USB 1.1. 2.0 is out (40X) faster but seems like the manufacters are purging the 1.1 before release of alot of the new, also 2.0 devices projected to drop 20% by end of year. Dazzle is a good 6 in 1 $35-$40 USB 1.1. Gary |

http://www.buy.com/retail/product.as...=30421&loc=101 $35.05+shipping win xp supports the unit native. no drivers necessary. it will come up as 2 removable drives. has disk for other OS's drivers with format util. the format util is not necessary in xp. xp supports formatting native in both FAT and FAT32.
