CF - S602 Zoom - which have you had success with?

I've decided on a Fuji S602 Zoom. Now shopping for CF and it's a big subject. I want the most bang for the least buck, of course.

Which CF have you actually used in the camera that worked well using all of the camera's capability? Also, please steer me away from CF that hasn't worked well in this camera.

Thanks for the help.

How many bucks are you sinking in the bang? Up to 256Mb, there have been some successes. Whether the card vendor changes the memory chip design when you actually buy, is a risk you take. Above 256Mb, fast cards increase in price as does your risk, particulary as the formatted card structure changes, but you can fiddle with that.

What you're asking for is a CF card guaranteed 602 compatible. I don't think even Fuji will give you that. Some of the latest fast Sandisk look interesting, but it's not speed only that's the 602 problem, it's how it drives the card.

Microdrives and Smartmedia work fine in a 602, irrespective of brand.

Thanks. Your link to the previous thread is helpful. I'll look around for CF with stated compatibility to the 602. If I don't find anything possibly I'll save a few more bucks for MD or just settle for SM. Sounds like CF is a risk to say the least.
