I recently bought a microdrive to use in a router (I didn't want to deal with CF Cards wearing out) and was wondering how much data you could fit on these 1" hard drives now that we're seeing 4TB hard drives come out. From a quick eBay search, I'm only finding 6GB drives.

My guess is that, since nobody makes them anymore, the capacities we have now are the only capacities we're likely to see.

The mechanical components of microdrives would wear out before the solid state memory, anyway, unless you operate them in a high heat environment, and even then it would be a toss-up.
