MY IBM 340 MB MICRODRIVE WONT INITALIZE,THIS HAPPENED TO 2 OF THEM ,PLEASE HELP HOW DO I REINITALIZE THEM ,I GET CARDREAD ACESS ERROR WHEN PLACED IN MY HP 7550 PRINTER ALSO

Hate to say it but, toss them. The old 340MB Microdrives were problematic at best and ran hot and were never very rugged. If you need a Microdrive then buy one of the newer technology 2GB Hitachi drives. They're much faster, they run cool and they're a lot more ruggedly designed.
