HELP!!! I would like to know what is the largest capacity media I can use inmy Nikon 8700, it can be a Memory Card or a Microdrive.
I went to the Nikon site and compatibility is guaranteed only up to 1 GB in both formats Memory Cards and Microdrives. I asked Nikon hoping to get more info but Nikon replied that besides the listed items they couldn't recommend others.
Any of you out there can help me some? I would like to buy the right media since my budget doesn't tolerate mistakes, specially costly ones
Thanks beforehand for your help.

Sounds like camera might be limited also to FAT16 meaning even if you had bigger card you could only use 2GB of it. (maximum partition size of FAT16 file system)

PS. "Memory Card" doesn't mean any type, its hould be Compact Flash.
