I'm looking into purchasing a Panasonic Lumix FX-9, and I probably will take short movie clips here and there. The VGA setting at 30 frames per second fills up a 1 GB card in 11 minutes, which I figure roughly translates to 1.55 MB/s. However the manual states it requires a card with speeds greater than 10 MB/s! One of the cards I'm looking at is the TwinMOS Ultra-X 66x SD card with stated speeds of 10 MB/s write and 8 MB/s read. Is that 8 MB/s going to be bad for movie mode? I see other 50x, 60x cards, are those cards much too slow? Should I spring for the 133x models? Also what speeds would I need to capture the high burst modes without lag? Many thanks!
