are these all basicly the same or are some brands better than others ?

i will be using CF cards and xD and have been looking at this card reader from Laxer http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...510787-3762017

actually yes. some will be somewhat faster then others due to internal design. lexar puts out a good product. i have that exact one too.
