My Olympus d-360L says no card, but it is good and working f

Has anyone had this error message come up on a Olmpus D-360L? The camera says no card. But the card works and batteries are good. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Few things about cards, non olympus cards must be formatted for your by your camera. Also cards previously used in other brand cameras may cause that problem, and finally cards used in other Olympus camera models previously should be reformatted as soon as placed in you camera.,
