Hi
Encouraged by some of the comments that I read in other forums I went out today and bought a Sandisc SDDR-91CF USB 2 card reader. When I plug it in however my XP computer reboots and then when I log in again it reboots (etc, etc, its been a long afternoon waiting!!!!) I thought that it might have something to do with a conflict with my Canon USB cable and driver so I uninstalled the driver and unplugged the cable. This didn't change a thing as it still reboots until I unplug the CF card reader cable. I also plugged it into notebook computer runnung MS ME and it works fine Does anyone have any thoughts? |

OK I think I know what has happened now.
I have a range of drive devices on my PC and I think the limit of drive letters is E: because the CF card reader has appeared as E: but my previous D: hard drive has disappeared. I think this happens because I have a home network and the F: drive may be the first network drive. Now all I need now (I think) is to find out how to make the first network drive G:. Anyone got any other thoughts |

yes, but you can set the last drive to a specific letter, so that you can only have xx amount of drives available.
