I've recently bought the Elios Photo Jukebox. Which supports USB 2.0 On-the-go. However, my camera doesn't.
I will right a review soon - and check that the transfer speeds are USB 2 - but at the moment I have a problem. I can connect my USB 2 Card Reader to the Elios, but only when it is connected to a power supply. I assume its battery can't copy with powering the device and the card reader. So, if I have a powered USB 2 card reader - this would mean (I hope) that I could connect it to me Elios on the move. Main reason for wanting this is a 24 day trek through Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. So I need to be able to use my Elios without it being plugged in. So, please, anybody know of any 'powered' USB2 compact flash readers? |

It may not be the reader.
It just be the limitations of your Elio. I would check with Elio first. Otherwise, you might try a Sandisk 8-in-1 card reader. Good luck ![]() |
