steve, I have Nikon P90 and its great, but I was taking my christmas fotos and noticed that a msg came up that read "Memory card is write protected"???????????? please help, i have no idea what that all means and can you tell me if my christmas shots that i took are in my camera memory??? evie

Most likely the write protect tab on the memory card was moved to the protected position which means the card is locked and will not allow you to add or remove any photos from it. When this happens to me it won't let me take any photos and the screen is blue with the error message on it. Remove the card from the camera and move the tab on the left side of the card all the way up towards the top. Put the card back in the camera and use the view mode or playback mode and see if the images are there or not
