Interesting link... What is that - Hieroglyphics? Swahili? Ebonics? Cuneiform?

I'm pretty fluent in google, so let's see...

This personal page is devoted to virx program gives an opportunity to record short video clips directly to your computer using digital SLR cameras Canon EOS support LiveView. Video is recorded without audio codec - MJPEG, framerate around 22 fps (depending on computer), the resolution depends on the camera, the 450D - 848x560, at 40D, 50D, 5D Mark II and 1Ds Mark III - 1024x680, at 1000D - 768x512 . The resulting file - it's easy recruitment LiveView without treatment (and / or conversion) in container avi, so we obtain such large files.

Well, you have a nice set-up Don Duc.

My set-up is much lower budget, but it does well for what little I need. Only problem is how quickly the SD card fills up with video (:50 minutes or so/4G). This is why I'm hoping to get hack help, to route the data directly to the hard drive.
