I formatted a 1GB SD card on my computer and then used it in my Pentax W20 camera. Trying to download the pictures does not work. I already tried Digital Image Recovery from Foto Erhardt. When reviewing the properties of the card, I can see that there is about 500 MB worth of data (pictures).
Any help will be appreciated. |

As a general rule, you should always format memory cards in the camera to ensure 100% compatibility.
Can you see the images when using preview in the camera. Have you tried to download the images direct from the camera. Have you tried using a card reader which for me is the preferred method of transferring images. |

I can see the pictures in the camera and tried to download them directly from it without success. I have a built in card reader, which displays the card as the F-drive but still does not show any folders.

You might try one of the readers in a store that makes prints. They might be a little more versatile. If their reader can see them, have them make a CD for you.
