one thing lets be honest how many people really need 64GB on a single card? Yeah their expensive but look how the prices on Blue DVD Burners and discs has come down over the last 18 months. Maybe as more camcorder uses start to use the 64GB cards for HD video the prices will start to fall over the next 18 months. I just got a 16GB class 10 transcend card a few weeks ago for $28 US Funds Price with free shipping. 16GB cards have come down in price recently and with more still photographers shooting with 10, 12, 14 and 16MP cameras that need the space to also shoot a video or two while they are out shooting stills the prices may still come down a little.

and I remember when I got my first digital camera my friends were using 2 or 3 floppy discs as their media for their cameras...... I was using the 120MB superdisc and at the time 2001 I thought that was more than I would fill in a year, now I shoot 600MB in an hour for work........

If you do allot of video 64 and 128 is very useful considering 4gb for a 15min clip on average for 1080p. Photo 16 and 32 works well.

I get about 45 minutes of video on my 16G cards, so I'd love to have a 64G to make life a little easier, but at $200 for a 64G card, I can wait a while longer.
