Scouring the internet for a decent online retailer for a new sandisk ultra 512 memory stick for my w1.
There are so many options - the US, ebay etc. There are so many and wondered where eveyone gets theirs. M |

In a local electronics store, equivalent of Best Buy in the US. I can't be bothered with the hassle of dealing with online retailers when I have local stores where I shop in all the time.

Check out <http://www.memorysuppliers.com>. I've made several purchases through them and have been happy with everything.

I always buy things through Ebay. I've recently bought a 512Mb Memory Stick Pro for my Sony W1 at Ebay. I paid 76USD + shipping. It was a good bargain. It saved me about 40USD, cuz these things in Europe are not cheap (they cost over 100 EURO = 120USD). I'm pretty happy with my card, it was shipped from USA and arrived here in 4 days (including the weekend).

Ebay is always good. reminds me that i have not bought anything on ebay for a while......
memory sticks over in england are way to expensive.......even the sandisk ones i've seen go over £100 (~USD180). then i look at an american site and its at 120.... |

I second the newegg recommendation. I always seem to end up buying my memory from them. They have very good prices and I've never had a single problem. One problem with local stores is they don't cary much of a high-speed selection and when they do they are a lot more expensive. And, unlike buying a lense or a camera you don't have to worry about getting a grey-market product or a referbished product when you are buying a memory card/stick.
