I am planning to get the Kodak Z612 and am wondering if a 2GB SD card will be okay with it? Kodak only sells up to 1GB so I was wondering.

It should work OK with a 2GB SD card.

Actually I'm only an amateur. I was interested in the 2GB card because of being able to take more video, but I ended up just going with a 1GB because of hearing how a 2GB card might slow the camera down. Thanks for your replies anyway.

Hi,

I have a Kodak Z612 and Kingston 2GB SD cards and they work just fine with each other. I haven't noticed any slowing down of the camera with this cards but then I confess I haven't had a chance to compare the Kodak Z612's performance with a 1 GB SD card.
