You can adapt almost any memories type to CF, the problem is will the driver in the camera support it... For example Minolta just put out firmware upgrades to all their Dimage's for their owners just for this purpose!

... The question is why? sD is costlier than CF especially on higher densities, and then you need to buy an extra costly adapter to be able to use it :?

mostly if you already have SD cards for other things, or want to move images to devices that only take SD. (eg xda so you can email mail them , when you're mobile.)
also perhaps as an overspill scenario..

or you get odd free SD cards free from work.

or think that CF cards are just too bulky.

it think for 17 they will get some takers.

With adapters you can use every memory card with CF-cameras.

I am working with different cameras / different cards and it is fine to use them also in my CANON 10D.

f.e. I use xD 256 MB in 10D.
