I had already benchmarked the Transcend 80X vs an Adata 150X and the Transcend 80X was was much faster than the 150X Adata on writes using Sandra.

I just got a new Canon S3 SI and bought a couple Transcend 2GB 150X cards to go with it. I'm not dissapointed. An informal test shows over 16MB/sec on writes. This was just copying a huge 800MB file to it using a cheezy little $7 Rosewill flash drive/card reader from Newegg. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820223069

I got my 2 cards from Newegg for $39. Meritline now has them for $33. http://www.meritline.com/transcend-2gb-150x-secure-digital-sd-card.html I think I'm going to get a couple more before that new slow SDHC standard crap takes over.

I just benchmarked a 2GB Transcend TS2GSD150 against a 2GB Transcend Jetflash USB thumb drive. The SD card & Rosewill reader was almost twice as fast as the Jetflash.. - Joe

I also have a 2 GB Transcend 150x SD card for my Powershot A710 and I am also very satisfied with the performance. If I use the A710 in burst mode, it takes more than 2 images per second and the buffer clears immediately if you stop shooting.
