I have a little Canon PowerShot A-85. I want to take some video sequences .

I have the 32 MB card that came with the camera and a 128 MB card that was included in the package.

I knew that with the 32 MB card I could only record for 3 minutes, but was surprised out the door to discoverthe same applies for the 128 MB card. Just 3 minutes.I mistakenly thought the larger the memory card the longer I could record a video sequence.

I totally don't understand why this is so for photo shooting but not for video recording.

Could somebody explain this thing to me?:?

Very much obliged
