Ok, I finally decided and purchased a Canon SD1000! I'm a point and shoot guy all the way and this camera is that and more. I just love the size of it. Anyway, it came with a 32meg SD card which doesn't hold much. I'm definitely a casual user and I at some point I'll probably use the video function. My question is, what size SD should I buy? I'm not sure I see the point inbuying anything less than 1gig unless it's to avoid spending money. Therefore, is it better to buy 4 or 5 x 1 gig sds or is better to buy 1 x 4gig SD card? Are you supposed to permanently save your pics on the SD card? I know they can be burned to a CD, but I remember reading that the life of a CD isn't really that long and storing data long-term is not recommended (I forgot the reason). All thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated.
