Sandisk Ultra II for point-and-shoot camera: does it make any difference?

I own a Canon A630 and my computer doesn't have a card reader slot. Is Sandisk SD Ultra II Plus Card 1GB (USB) worth the extra bucks (because of the camera and because of the lack of a card reader slot)?

What other SD memory cards do you suggest?

It counldn't hurt.

And for videos and burst or rapid sequential shots, a faster card could help.

And not having a card reader doesn't matter, but you could get a USB 2.0card reader for about $15-$25.

Sams Club and Best Biy carry 15-in1 and 12-in-1 USB 2.0 card readers for about $12 and I find them to be way faster than hooking the cameras up my laptop and downloading that way.
