I am entering the digital signage business, where I have the choice of storing audio/video files on most any type of media storage card (CF, SD, MMC, Memory Stick, etc). I'll most likely be using a 1 GB card. My question: which type of media will give me the fastest transfer rate to an LCD screen?

CF and SD cards are fastest, and CF cards are used in more industrial applications.

For instance, see http://www.sandisk.com/OEM/ProductCa...Computing.aspx

CF UDMA cards are by far the fastest cards you can find but you need a fast reader for them and I don't think they can be found in 1GB capacities.

Some examples:
ATP ProMax II, SanDisk Extreme IV, Lexar Professional 300X and Transcend UDMA 133X (which actually has the highest read speed of all).
