You can buy a fast 16GB CompactFlash or SDHC card for under $100 now, and you can also find 32GB cards shipping for more. So, it's not like you're going to be swapping cards a lot anyway if you buy a large enough card.
I just bought a DSLR that uses CF cards. But I have a number of SD and SDHC cards from my older camera.

Are there adaptors "SD/SDHC to CF" that will allow me to use the SD and SDHC cards in the DSLR?

Thanks.

Yes.

But, depending on the adapter and the camera, some of those adapters are tough to remove once the've been inserted. If all you'll ever use is SD cards, then no problem. But if you think you might need to remove the adapter some day, make sure you can.

Thanks a lot for the advice.

I found out that CF cards are really cheap these days - even cheaper than SD cards of the same capacity. For instance, a 4GB Ridata 233X CF card was only US55.00. SD cards don't even go to 4GB - you have to go to SDHC which run you close to US$80.00 for an equivalent.

So I decided to just get CF cards instead of an adaptor.
