Default Any Extreme III Deals

I've got several 1GB and 2GB slow CF cards that I'd like to replace they are really too slow for what I have been shooting lately. I am in the market to get another 8GB or even better a 16GB Sandisk extreme III card.

Does anyone know of any real great deals out there? I would really like to get the ones rated at 30MB per second as opposed to the older 20MBps. I've been checking around but haven't found a 16GB under $90 yet that state they are 30MBps cards (also been looking for an 8GB that would be under $45)

Adorama and B&H both have the Sandisk Extreme III 8GB CF Card with a $15 rebate and the 16GB CF Card with a $20 rebate.

Some UDMA Cards go for less, and might even be faster than the Extreme III.

And I'm more comfortable with buying a variety of cards, figuring out which ones are faster, and using them. That way I'm confident of the performance I'll get, and I don't have all my photos on one big card.

So what would you buy as far as a 16GB card is concerned?

I'd buy 3 or 4 different 4GB UDMA cards.

But that's me.

They'd range from $30-$45 each, which would be more than a 16GB SanDisk III (especially with the rebate going on.)

that would put me over the budget I had/have for the new card. I already have a trascend 133x that works good in the camera. I may just end up with another one of those and be done with it, however the extreme IIIs are slightly faster so I have been debating how long to wait to see if I can find a deal before I just buy a cheaper 133x card.

The Extreme III cards are fast, safe, and Adorama and B&H both have the rebates that I couldn't find at other retailers.

Thanks a million...... I will most likely order one or more when I order my new A700 at the end of the summer.
