Default Problem with reading files on Sony Pro Memory Stick

Have run into problem reading files from new pro memory stick via APACER6-in-1 card reader installed in wife's PC. The reader works fine with the slower types of memory but generates the error message "drive not accessible".

Would appreciate any ideas or experiences?

Thank you.

I was not aware of that difference. I guess you've identified the problem. Are you aware of any compatible multi-format readers? I have an APACER 6-in-1. Thanks

well a good portion of sonys own line won't accept the new type MS. so i would say that if in the card reader literature if MS PRO is not mentioned its just pain old memorystick. there are MS PRO readers out there.

The new SanDisk 8-in-1 ImageMate and the new Lexar Multi-Card USB 2.0 readers work fine with MS Pro sticks.

Thanks guys. I found a SanDisk 8-in-1 reader at CompUSA which works like a charm.
