Default SD brands to stay away from?

Are there any brands that are notorious for failing? Or being the most reliable? Or are most the same?

sandisk
duracell
HP
coremicro
panasonic

Any stinkers in this list?

avoid ADATA,

Sandisk and Panasonic are really good. Not sure about the others, have not tired them.

I use Patriot, Kingston and even Adata (4gb) without any problem. It seems like Adata has a bad reputation. I just ordered a 8gb PQI for $7.67 shipped.

SDHC are High Capacity cards which will hold more images than the SD. The actual amount will vary with your brand of camera.

Regular SD card has a 2gb size limit. If you want a larger capacity card, you have to go SDHC. There is even larger size card called SDXC which can go beyond 64gb.
