Default memory for A-60 camera

Which menory card should I buy for A-60 canon power shot.I am looking at 128 or 256.We will be taking lots of pictures.

The general rule of thumb around here is that a 12-18x CF card is fast enough for most cameras. After that, most cameras are not taking advantage of the extra speed (i.e. you're wasting your money.)

I'm happy with my 2 Lexar cards, but SanDisk, Viking, Delkin, & Transcent are all good brand.

Note that SanDisk makes something with no speed rating on it, nor with the words Ultra, Ultra II, Extreme. That is one of the slowest cards ever made (very, very old design.) Don't get that one. But if SanDisk made a 12x card, I'd trust them to use a reasonable speed rating (i.e. not lie) and you could consider that.

I would opt for a 256mb card for your camera. I use Vikin and Lexar cards that are rated at 12X.
