Default sony and olympus announce newest cards

sony and olympus have just announced the latest and most exciting memory card format, the ZXVD ULTRASUPERCARD. It is the size of a pinhead, about 1mm square, and it will be available this fall at up to 128MB capacities, but will reach capacities of 16GB by 2012. It will be available in exciting colors to please everyone.

Please, don't give them any ideas ... that new Memory Stick Duo is already tiny enough.

I've heard countless stories of "washed CF cards" and completely lost SmartMedia and Secure Digital cards because of their diminuitive size.

interesting......but kind of worthless....memory stick is small enough, but the capacity stinks. 2012? that is a lifetime away, unfortunately....with sony's own imagers exceeding 5MP, they need 1GB memory sticks now. I know they promised them by the end of this year.........?
