IMO the D70 looks like the better one... of course its not available yet, and who knows by then we might have another Canon release!

BTW the iPod MINI is out, this too has a 4G Microdrive inside... adding another MP3 to the heap of junk.

Just recv'd my Muvo MP3 player and took it apart:

Following the instructions found on DP Review's forum I removed the 4GB microdrive and replaced it with my old 1GB IBM microdrive. The Muvo cost me $199 from J&R in NYC.

The only bug during re-assembly was the first time I put it back together the sub-board with the front buttons was not seated fully and would not work. Had to disassemble and reassemble a second time and now all is fine and the Muvo is once again playing songs.

Sounds good but I don't need any more 4GB microdrives or MP3 players right now

I'll let somebody else perform that surgery.

1. The iPod Mini are really cute especially the shiny pink! :P
2. Can you get your hand on a Muvo2 lately? (hint: sold out almost everywhere)

BTW the iPod Mini is only $224.99 if you get them @ university bookstores, or 10% off with a student ID from a MAC store (ie an education discount similar to PhotoShop)! 8)
