Default Lexar 1000x CF cards....?

I would like to buy the Lexar Professional 1000x 16 GB cards. (initially, I wanted to get the 600x versions but they are no longer available.) I have looked at the reviews and lot of people are complaining about the fact that these new 1000x cards fail. I am a wedding photographer and can't afford to lose photos...although I always back up the pictures in the dual slot.

My question: Have you ever used the Lexar Professional 1000x 16Gb series cards and what your experience is....?

I guess they are too new. I am still hesitant to buy them.

Sandisk is now selling UDMA-7 extreme Pro CF cards. BUT, you also should understand that both these cards are only beneficial if you have a camera that is capable of UDMA-7 write speeds.

There definitely does seem to be more complaints about Lexar failures. I've always been a sandisk user and you don't hear the same stories about them.

I am a transcend user never had an issue and I know 2 others who use the 30mb/s and 45mb/s Sandisk cards (extreme series I believe) without any issues.... I have also heard of several Lexar failures myself
