Default Need CF card, fast/relatively big, waiting for Minolta A2...

i'm waiting for my A2 to arrive so i'm now doing research on CF cards. new to the CF scene and so far, i found that the fastest two cards are: Sandisk Ultra II and Sandisk Extreme, for both, I'd like the 1 Gig.

after researching, i was informed that the Extreme is only better in terms of temperature extremes, NOT physical "drop" or "knock/jolt". For me, i'm not sure the A2 would even work at temperature extremes so i'm not that concerned. the Ultra II is slightly (though insignificantly) less expensive.

i'm wondering if anyone has good sources/ideas for CF fast/big cards? which site(s)brick and mortar store(s) are reliable and well priced? so far, i seem to end up with B&H and J&R.

any advice would be much appreciated.

by the way, i'm of the "bigger cards and fewer cards" school. i prefer fewer memory cards, opening the card compartment on the camera fewer times, rather than more cards, opening the compartment more frequently. just my personal preference.

thanks again!

The SanDisk Ultra II would be a perfect choice for use in the new A2 camera. It is faster than the camera so it will never slow you down ...
