I just bought a Canon powershot S60 and I need to buy a larger compact flash memory card.I would like to have high quality images and RAW files since a lot of the pictures will be from my honey moon. Am I better off with an ultra compact I or ultra compact II memory card? I am going on vacation for two weeks and I will not be near a computer so I am buying a 1 gig card. Will I notice a difference between the two cards? Are their any manufacturers that anyone would suggest?

Pretty much all of the 1GB CF cards that I have seen are CompactFlash Type I cards. The only difference between Type I and II is the thickness of the card. Most consumer digicams only have CF Type I card slots so this is why most CF cards are the Type I design. See this page:

FYI - All of the Microdrives are CF Type II devices.
