I have just bought my first digital camera - aCanon Power Shot S1 IS. Great camera!

I have a problem with the 32MB CF card that comes with the camera.

It is possible to use it in the camera and I can upload pictures to my pc with the link-cable. But when inserted in the card reader the green light is on all the time and I am unable to find it in "My computer".
It isn't even detected when trying to format it in the "Image Rescue" program, which is supplied on the cards!
I have tried to format it in the camera and then in the card reader with no success.

The 512MB Lexar CFI bought works perfect in both the camera and the card reader.

Has anyone had this experience before or should I just contact Canon to get a new card?!

Sad to see, that my first post had to be in the "Trouble shooting" section and not in the photo section.

I actually meant it as a joke but I still would like to have it as a emergency-spare-CF card!

I still hope someone has a solution to my tiny problem!? :?

Hi Henrik,

Just send the card into Sandisk for replacement.

I am sure they will send you another one.
