I will be receiving my new Nikon D70 in a week or so and have been shopping for 512mb compact flash cards for it. Newegg has a ritek 52x card for $78 (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...142&depa=1). They also have a transcend 45x for $90 or sandisk ultraII for $106. i haven't ever heard of ritek, and i was wondering if i will see a noticeable performance hit by chosing the cheaper card. Thanks!

Take a look here .. http://www.robgalbraith.com/bins/mul...?cid=6007-6816The D70 is really fast at writing to the cards the RITEK is not the fastest but if the price is right it will probably work OK. The Sandisk gives the best performance (well at least until the Lexar 80x is profiled :-)).

Look at the 300D numbers and you will feel even better about buying the D70.
