I returned my Sony W1 and went with a Fuji S5000, only problem is, I have a Sony EX-50 printer. The printer doesn't have a native XD card slot, and my camera doesn't support PicBridge (what a bummer...) I like printing pictures directly from my camera, but unless there's some firmware upgrade that add's support for PB I think I'm stuck with getting a XD/CF cconverter card.

Only problem there is, I can't find a store that carries them. I have no CC so I can't order off the web. Any suggestions of somewhere that'll carry these? Would be nice to use my printer without a PC.

thanks

A store that sells Fuji and/or Olympus cameras should be able to get one. It's not cheap though. Might be better to get a different printer.

Actually, in Steve's review of the S5000 it *does* list the converter in the optional accessories:

"Compact Flashâ„¢ Card Adapter DPC-CF"

They run about $35 on web sites, so I'm guessing if I see it retail it will be in the $45 dollar range. I could take the printer back (just bought it) but aside from that Epson pail ink jetprinter, I haven't seen a portable printer that accepts XD cards natively.
