When you say "...f: screen eventually opens theres nothing on it" are there other folders/directies? Is so, open them. Are you sure the F drive is the correct one? On my PC I have 2-3 "drives" created by the 2-3 photo card readers (SD, CF, SmartMedia). I never remember which is which, so I have to check out each! <g>

Not sure how you're connecting to transfrer the photos from the camera to the PC, but try this which usually works on ANY PC:

Camera off, PC on
>Connect USB cable from camera to PC (camera will probably 'wake up'. If not, turn it on in View mode")
>Watch PC for indication there is "new hardware"
>Open "My Computer" and look for a drive that is "removable >storage" or something like that. There might be more than one.
>Click on each potential device (above). You may have to click further once into that device. In other words, there may be 2-3 folder or directories in each device.
>Eventually you'll find the right device and the right folder to view your photos.
>Copy the pictures (above) onto your PC (drag and drop) but DO NOT delete them on the camera until you view them on the PC.
>Then delete from the camera as needed.

Hope this helps.

Also there is a good post titled "download" in the "Newbie" forum that addressed this probably better than my earlier post!
