Just got the above-captioned.

Can anyone tell me how to remove the reader from its dock?

Gentle pulling didn't work, and I don't want to break anything.

(I've got some buggy behavior[1] I want to ask ScanDisk about, but the s/n is hidden by the dock.)

[1]e.g., When I try to run QuickTime and the reader is connected and not ejected, my Win2k system seems to look for QT in the drive for the xD card. There are other issues, too. But more on those later, perhaps.

Hello nyoing,

Welcome to the forum

If you go to Sandisk.com, you will need to drill down a bit to find but eventually you can email Sandisk with your concern. They are relatively prompt about responding also.

Btw, I have the Sandisk 8-in-1 reader which does fit very snugly also. What I would suggest is that you pull it gently in the direct, opposite direction that you fitted the reader to the dock. I know it sounds obvious but when I do this with my 8-in-1, nothing happens initially but as I apply gently increasing force it comes apart.

Good luck

Actually, I did not fit the reader to the dock; that was the way it came. So I'm wondering if I should pull straight upwards or at the angle that the reader leans in the dock, etc.
