Yeah just check out the research I posted just before your post. If your camera is not a high speed , high end camera there is no point in getting a high speed card like the San disk Ultra II or the San disk Extreme III . But if you have a high end camera that is more than 5 mega pixels than get the Ultra II. It will read and write images 3 to 4 times faster than the standard red and blue san disk card.

-Standard red and blue SD card (San Disk) 2/3 mbps for basic 4 mgpixel or less

-Ultra II (San disk) 9/10 mbps for 5mgpixel or better

-Extreme (San disk) 9/10 mbps for5 mgpixel or better

-Extreme (San disk) 20/20 mbps for the latest high end$

The latest high speed SD cards(like the Extreme III)from San disk are only for the latest high end expensive camera's.

Does your camera use compact flash (CF) or secure disk (SD) cards? If you use either I think San Disk is the main industry standard and their latest cards have technology that their competitors do not have. Again check out my 2 posts just before your post. -moh2o

Well i got this camera for xmas, and bought the following byte stor card

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...763517-0854850

As far as i'm concerned its great, hi speed, works well with the camera (so far after 3 weeks of use!) and is excellent value. it can store 242 photos in best mode. I'm very pleased with it. don't see how other cards could be faster or better, especially this one is nearly half the price of most other hi speed 512 sd cards

hope this helps.
