Im going to be buying a Canon A75 digital camera and want to know what the best CF media i can get that is about 128 or 256MB in size and will give me the best speed in the camera?

if no one knows that then what is the best kinda CF to buy or does it matter?

From what I understand that camera will not really take full advantage of the fastest cards out there. Those are reserved for the very high end cameras. I have the same camera as you and just got a Sandisk Ultra II 512mb capacity card and it seems just fine to me. It is rated to write at 9mb/s and read at 10mb/s.

I believe Lexar makes some that are rated even higher, but those are probably overkill as well. In my readings here I've found that most people recommend Lexar...
