Hi! I have a Nikon G600 and Canon A510. I also have one 1GB SD Card. Can I use the same card interchangeably between both cameras or is there formating issues?

Thanks

As long as you format the card in each camera before you use it, it should work fine.

What I mean is can I take a few pictures with one camera then later switch it to the other camera?

I ask this because I have an underwater housing for the Canon but not the Nikon, can I stll use the same memory card?

I use the same CF card interchangeably between my Nikon 5400 and Canon S230 without re-formatting. The cameras automatically createsNikon and Canon files in the card. I can't vouch for your SD combination, but it's easy to test- just take a few pix and switch. You won't damage the card.

I was surprized and delighted that CF cards are interchangeable.
