Hi: (I'm sorry but I dont speak english very well I'm going to try to explain my problem)

I have a 256 mbXD card (256 M). I formatted the card in the pc and the card works propertly in the pc but in the camera (OLYMPUS 410) doesn't recognize the card. I can't format the card in the camera because an error appear "Card Error".

I think that the card have not a good format. I formatted the card in the pc with FAT but was the same in the pc the card works but the camera doesn't recognize the card and it is imposible to format it.

Ihave a microdrive in the pc for XD cards. The problem is not in the camera beause another cards are working in the camera correctly.

Any suggestion? Any idea? Any program? Any.....?

Thanks a lot at all.

Javier from Spain.

Hmmm...I have an idea...try bringing your media to a local best buy [or something similiar] and try reformatting in one of their cameras.

That might just do the trick!

Your PC may have formatted your card in the wrong configuration, meaning FAT32 instead of FAT16.

I have a KMZ3 and the manual states you need to be careful formatting on a PC. Or maybe I read it.

THe format function should have the option to switch from NTFS, FAT32, and FAT16.
